Do you have any of the following items in your house or business that you have out-grown? Please don't throw it away, we'll send it to people who need it!
*summer clothing (children, men, women)
*Women's accessories and make-up (hand-bags, make-up that is wiped clean, accessories, belts, hats, etc.) These will be given to women who are having a hard time (when I say 'hard time', it is almost uncomprehendably difficult) in life, to cheer them up. Hey, if mom's sad, the whole house is sad! If she is happy, the whole house is happy!
*swimsuits for children and women (no two-pieces though because of culture)
*shoes Very necessary
*toys No electricity or battery toys please. Most people do not have access to electricity or batteries.
*laptop computers or lightweight PC's Even if it is broken, we have IT volunteers to repair them and install English operating systems. We ask for laptops because the shipping cost is significantly less than a big computer. A light-weight PC will also be great! The school is using curriculum from 30 years back and hasn't a single working computer. We want to give them access to the internet and information to improve their education!
*English children's books (for a mini-library to be opened this summer)
*Educational or children-friendly DVD's and Videos
*VCR/DVD player/light weight TV (For school and relief center)
*Other: If you have any ideas of something to send, please contact us.
If you have any of the above items, you can ship them to the following locations (depending on which is convienent for you):
Japan *Tokyo, Japan (Shibakoen) *Yokohama, Japan
USA *Jackson, Wyoming *Salt Lake City, Utah
Philippines *Manilla *Atimonan Province
Please contact us on the CONTACT US link to get the shipping/drop-off information that best suits your needs. Thank you.
Please check back regularly for updates. We post photos regularly so you can have a chance to see the people receiving the shipment that included the gifts you gave. There are photo albums of past gift-giving projects on the HISTORY section of this homepage.
